Vegetarian, Vegetarianism, Why
good for health, How, Where, Knowledge of, Information
of ...
By vegetarian we mean both physically and spiritually:
- Physically:
- We not only avoid
eating animals, but also discourage using products which involve
harming animals
- The animal products
involve the industries which bring animals suffering, such
as the production of milk, egg, wool /silk, honey ...
more
- We should not live
our life based upon the suffering other sentient beings; letting
others to suffer will bring us the suffering someday, this
applies both for human being and other sentient beings.
- We encourage holistic living style, this
include organic and raw food, more
- Spiritually, in our
thoughts, we should encourage non-violence and pray for goodness and
God's blessing.
What is Vegan (Veganism, Vegans)
Veganism is a way of living which refuse to have anything to do
with any product that is acquired through the harm, killing,
mistreatment, exploitation of, and cruelty to, the animal kingdom,
and includes a reverence for life. It applies to the practice of living
on the products of the plant kingdom to the exclusion of flesh, fish,
fowl, eggs, honey, animal milk and its derivatives, and encourages the
use of alternatives for all commodities derived wholly or in part from
animals (Stepaniak).
What is Vegetarian (Lacto-Ovo-Vegetarian, Vegetarianism, Vegetarians)
A person who consumes no meat, fish or fowl (chicken, turkey, etc.), but
who may consume animal products such as dairy products (milk, cheese,
butter, etc.), eggs or honey.
